I’m happy to share the fact that I’m now back with the Druidic tradition Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF)! I first registered to ADF in November 2013, joined a Grove in Ottawa, Canada, and then left the group in 2014 to pursue my training as a Solitary Polytheist “Witch Druid”. Today, after lots of personal studies and researches, I feel the need to join another Grove located in Ottawa, and I renewed my subscription with ADF.
Exploring the membership section of the site is awesome! Lots of new sections and updates! I can’t wait to start my new Dedicant Path work from scratch. Yes, I could re-use the studies and works that I did in 2013-2014 for my Dedicant Path, but so much changed in my life since that I feel the need to redo the whole process. It’s a new fresh start!
What does it mean for my Spiritual Path? Well, I still consider myself as a “Witch Druid”, as my tradition could be described as Celtic Polytheistic Reconstructionist Paganism. My practice will be divided in two interconnected paths. One side of my practice will be to participate to High Days (Sabbats) with a local ADF Grove, to study and to complete my Dedicant Path Essays following the Druidic ADF Tradition. One another side of my personal practice, I’ll celebrate the Full Moons and the Dark Moons as a Solitary Celtic Witch (technically, not Wiccan, as I have Polytheism beliefs, not Duotheism ones) and I’m going to still learn about the Craft from open Circles, books and websites. All my life I’ve been known to be a workaholic for what I love, and my Spiritual Path is my main focus ever since a certain night of October 2013. My Matron Goddess, The Morrígan, always encourages me to push my limits, and the last thing I want to do is to disappoint Her! I must admit, I love to achieve new knowledge, and this is way I am a Druid to my mind and a Witch to my heart!
Soon, I’ll be posting my weekly homeworks related to my ADF studies! I just created my blog today but I’ve been working on my DP for some weeks now, so I’ll post them in a row for the next few days. Around Beltane (May 1st) I’ll be right on track and I will update the blog every week following the ADF Dedicant Path – Through the Wheel of the Year (5th Edition) guide by Rev. Michael J Dangler.
